THE ACCOMMODATIONS in Tuscany are in a “borgo”, which is a cluster of homes and apartments like a little village. Travelers will have a private room and bathroom but may not necessarily have their own house. We will do our best to group friends and families traveling together into shared houses/apartments, but it is possible you will be sharing a house with fellow travelers who are not (yet) your personal friends.

EACH PASSENGER IS ENTITLED to bring one full-size suitcase and one carry-on. We are traveling in vans that cannot accommodate more luggage than that, so please do not overpack.

THIS IS AN ACTIVE EXPERIENCE and we will be walking on cobblestone streets and climbing hills and stairs. By signing off on these terms and conditions you are warranting that you have the requisite physical abilities to participate in this trip and are assuming all risk that arises from your participation.

PASSPORTS/VISAS: All travelers MUST have a valid passport to travel internationally. Italy requires that passports are valid for 6 months from your return date and have a minimum of two empty pages for stamps. PASSPORT CARDS ARE NOT VALID FOR TRAVEL INTERNATIONALLY VIA AIR. It is each traveler's responsibility to be aware of entry requirements of each country prior to travel based on his/her individual nationality, citizenship, travel history, and criminal record. If you have any legal issues that could prevent you from traveling outside of the United States, it is your responsibility to verify your ability to travel. Examples include (but are not limited to) overdue alimony or child support payments, DUI, IRS, pending warrants, legal convictions, federal charges, and inclusion on the no-fly list. Tramonti Events, Tramonti Vineyards and Tramonti Travel, LLC. is not responsible for travelers who are denied entry due to passport/visa requirements or legal issues.

This travel agency does not own, manage, control or operate any company or service which would fit into the classification of “Supplier.” Neither this travel agency nor any of its representatives shall be or become liable or responsible for any loss, injury, or damage to person, property or otherwise in connection with any accommodations, transportation or other services resulting directly or indirectly from any acts of God, including but not limited to dangers incident to the sea, fire, breakdown in machinery or equipment, acts of governments or other authorities, de jure or de facto wars, whether declared or not, hostilities, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferage, epidemics, quarantines, medical or customs regulations, defaults, delays or cancellations of or changes in itinerary, routing or schedules from any cause beyond the control of this travel agency or from any loss or damage resulting from insufficient and/or improperly issued passports, visas or other documents and that neither this travel agency nor any of its representatives shall be or become liable or responsible for any additional liability sustained or incurred as a result of the foregoing causes. This travel agency is not responsible nor liable for defaults of “Suppliers” or any other person, company, or incorporation not directly under its control. In the case of air, ship, rail, automobile, or other form of transportation, the passenger contract in use by the provider of such transportation when issued shall constitute the sole contract between the passenger and the “Supplier.”

TRAVEL INSURANCE: Travel Insurance is highly recommended for all travelers on all trips, and an insurance quote is always provided. If you choose not to purchase travel insurance, you are acknowledging that even cancellations due to natural disasters (such as hurricanes), medical/personal emergencies, etc. are going to be subject to penalties.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: Travel documents will be sent to you no later than ten (10) days prior to departure date. Please read through these documents immediately; unnoticed misprints, misspellings, incorrect dates etc. are not the responsibility of Shared Adventures Travel, Inc. It is very important that you take your travel documents with you in addition to passports and a major credit card.

BAGGAGE FEES: Due to continual changes in airline baggage policies, it is suggested that you inquire with your airline's website for up-to-date fees & information. Shared Adventures Travel, Inc. is not responsible for additional fees incurred for baggage or seating. Please review "Updated Checked Bag and Carryon Bag Rules" at www.TSA.gov for rules regarding items which may be checked and carried on and your air carrier’s website for more information regarding baggage fees and allowances.

AIRLINE SCHEDULE CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS: Airlines frequently change their flight schedules and may even cancel flights entirely. Since you are booking your own flights, it's your responsibility to stay on top of those changes and notify your agent so that the rest of the itinerary can be revised accordingly.

RE-CONFIRM YOUR FLIGHTS: Tramonti Events, LLC advises you to personally re-confirm your flight schedule within 24 hours prior to departure directly with the airline in case of any last-minute changes or delays. You are responsible for making sure that the airline has all necessary security information, including passport details, at that time. Most airlines allow you to check in online 24 hours prior to departure using the “Record Locator” (the confirmation number found in your travel documents). Some low-cost European carriers now REQUIRE online check-in as much as 48-72 hours in advance and will charge a fee if you do not do so.

AIRPORT CHECK IN: Please check in with your airline at the airport no later than three (3) hours prior to scheduled flight departure time. Earlier deadlines would apply during peak travel periods.

HOTEL CHECK IN: Check-in time at most hotels is 3:00 pm (local time). If you arrive prior to 3:00 pm your room may not be ready. The hotel will store your luggage in a secure location on property so you may start enjoying your vacation without delay.
